wrong section? for me.. "Learn to fly".. a simple penguin flash game.. would work well with the accelerometer support
My first desire would be to see an NHL Hockey game otherwise, i would love to see the tower defence games keep comong
I want to see a full on bullet hell/curtain fire shooter, as close to a Team Shanghai Alice game as possible, in terms of graphics, music, gameplay, everything. If you've never heard of it, check out videos on youtube for Perfect Cherry Blossom. It looks super hard, but isn't as bad as it looks, and it's really fun. Maybe not quite as hard as one of those as touchscreen controls for a bullet hell game might not be the best control style, but I'd take it!
If you're going to put out 100 games in a year, I don't want any of them. Take your time and make games to be proud of instead of spamming the app store.
Hello - First, 100 seems like it might be too much. Aiming for a lower amount, but a higher quality, is a much better business model over the long run. You get a reputation for good games, can charge a little more because people trust you, and you help the app community in General. That being said - I think there's room for really highly developed strategy game. There's a couple out, but they all over extended themselves. Gameplay is king, not graphics (but graphics are a close second). Something like Advanced Wars, that knows its limits, but uses them to its advantage. More puzzle games are always nice, like Enso Dot Beyond that, I dunno, look around the internet for neat flash games and combine two or something. Good luck, hope to see your games out soon.
i'd like to play something very similar to the old 'Motocross Maniacs' that was on GameBoy, with the retro style graphics/sounds. Really fun game with all the power ups and stuff. see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motocross_Maniacs also here's a link to play it: http://gbemul.com/game/1499/motocross_maniacs/
A 3D MMORPG . As others have said, take your time. No ones going to buy 100 apps, they will be rushed and poor quality.
RPG's. I want to see mature RPG's with robust character development options (Manually upgrading stats and skills etc), large non-linear world maps and a good variety of audio tracks (Too many of the current ones have a limited audio selection). Something like a modernized Dragon Warrior 3 with a dark, mature storyline (That isn't about saving the world!) and a solid interface / control scheme would immediately get my attention. Oh, and nix the random battles too. Also something along the lines of Castlevania / Metroid would be fantastic but I have no idea what type of control scheme would work for this, considering these games often rely on quick, precise movements to dodge enemy attacks.
For one I'm still waiting for warpgate and other games I would love to see are okami and a stun runner clone.
What do i want to see that isn't already on the app store? off the top of my head, i can think of several game types. Something like.. Culdcept Harvest Moon (Pocket Farm doesn't count, its too Facebooky and Ranch Rush is a time management game) Tetra Master (FF9 card game) Blitzball (either the FFX or FFX-2 version, i loved both) Professor Layton Taiko Drum Master Animal Crossing
I'd love that too, that'll be awesome. I long for an RPG on the appstore with a storyline that will actually be a good story and not too generic.
