Just wanted to know: What games are you still playing 3 months after you got them? These are the games I'm more interested in purchasing (i.e., the ones you keep coming back to).
Sadly...truly none since the progression of the app store...is well, fast! Funny how the only I still do is TapTapRev 2 and it's a free app. heh I don't think it's quite been 3 months though.
I actually still have TTR1 Still playing Edge, Heavy Mech, Cube Runner (from time to time), Galcon, Galaxy on Fire, Up There, and Space Ninja.
Baseball slugger(haven't had it 3 months yet, but c'mon, its a given), fastlane, BIA, stoneloops, tresures of montezuma, 3d vector ball, zentomino, 9 innings, real soccer09, wild west pinball(i cant believe its free now thats bs), 7 cities, 2079, galcon, hoopster, hairball, textropolis. THe only game that Ive had since the first few weeks of the app store that i still play is hairball i think ive had that long. Oh and galcon i think ive had since ive joined TA. I stil play that from time to time, but cant keep my rank up, its a play every day demanding kinda game.
Three months is quite a commitment with all the fresh apps! I have been playing Red Sky (free missile command app) for way more than three months. It's a great one for zoning out when listening to music or podcasts. Plus they have achievements which I'm a sucker for. Word Play online is a close second (also free I believe). As for a hard core type game, I could see myself playing Zenonia (when I actually get it) for quite some time. Tap defense is a great one too (consequently FREE!!)
I have yet to find a game that can hold my attention for more than a month. Although I do fire up iShoot sometimes, which is the first game I ever bought on my ipod.
Well, today I removed all games which I don't play that much and now have only one homescreen left which means, "only" 16 games... The oldest ones are Edge, Smiles, Monkey Ball, geoDefense and Tower Bloxx. But I haven't played them for a while . I'm currently into Rolando 2, Toki Tori and DrawRace.
Oh yeah, Edge is great. but I only fired that one up recently for the 3 new levels (45 is hard). haven't played it much after finishing
Hmmm, interesting. There seems to be a trend here (albeit with a small sample size). The games that have the most legs are the 'causal' or non-hardcore. I put casual in quotes because I think it's a crappy descriptor. One would call solitaire a casual game, but many poeple have played for hours trying to beat a high score or accomplish an achievement. To me, that sounds hardcore despite not having any story line, stellar graphics, or engaging gameplay. Perhaps I should start a post about it...
Touchgrind and Flight Control for sure, theres a few others that I look at but never seem to open anymore: Zen Bound, HoS, and a few others (Im running off of my memory)
