    Fez.

Probably the best retro-styled puzzler/platformer/adventure game I've played in a while. It's gotten me back to playing my 360 again.

But holy crap, it can be confusing as hell and easy to get lost (even with a "map")! It's gonna take me a long time to finish.

May work better on iPad, but still think the mechanics are suited for the iOS, all you're doing is jumping and pressing a button to activate certain things. Swiping for rotating would also be easy to implement.

I'm just waiting for Phantasy Star Online 2 to hit iOS devices (hopefully late this year/early next year). When this happens I will be in iOS gaming heaven.

    The original dungeon master.

    Planescape Torment.

Turn based blood bowl. Make it asynchronous.

The 3ds game Shadow something or other. Great turn based game, characters had personality, great missions.

The pap game Jean D'Arc. For the reasons above.

    The original Halo

    Max Payne 2

    GTA VC and SA

    COD 4

    Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

I'd pay $100 easily for all of these games combined.

    The Longest Journey..

There has been no news about the port since Funcom declared they were developing an ios port back in October 2011.

    Good call on Lost Vikings!

    Also:
    Ilomilo
    Lemmings
    Lode Runner
    Rollercoaster Tycoon
Railroad Tycoon II (but would take I as well)
More point and click adventures from the Sierra, LucasArts, Penumbra studios
Nancy Drew adventures (for my kids)
    Tropico
    Master of Orion

I could probably list 100 old PC games that I'd buy on iOS. Wonder how much work it would be to port an old DOS game to iOS. Anyone?

EDIT: WOuld also love to see Mercury Meltdown. Could work very well with tilt controls, although it was pretty tough on the Wii with tilt...

Tekken! They're releasing Street FighterxTekken! I'm getting that. But NAMCO made Soul Calibur for this. If you played it wow! Especially for a 3D game. Where is a Tekken?! I didn't play it as I don't prefer it but apparently there is Virtua Fighter 2 on the AppStore. Bring on Tekken!

it definitely wont happen - SCEE will make sure of that.

    (self-plug)
i ported Lemmings way back to iOS and webOS only to have SCEE shut it down and show zero interest in licensing the title for iOS or any non sony platform. so, we then spent a year reworking all the art, levels, sounds.. everything.. to build a BETTER version of the game - Caveman! :)
    (/self-plug)

it is now available on iphone/ipod touch and ipad (HD version) and a mac osx version was also just made available. check the link in my signature. there is even a hidden easter egg if you want nostalgia :)

I still want Vagrant Story on my ipad. Since combat is semi-turn-based, the game can be like IB during combat combos, where you tap 3 sections of the touchscreen for the different attacks. If SE can make a similar game, and make the movement 360-degree, that would be awesome.
