Im doing some small research for a study project about gadgets e-commerce in China. Have you guys bought from these companies, and if yes, which ones? 1. Miniinthebox.com, 2. Dealextreme.com, 3 Chinavasion.com.
I've bought from dealextreme, but I haven't heard of the other ones I've also bought from focalprice.com.
I use the gadget dealer right next to the drug dealer on the street corner... you know, that one. Jk, Newegg.com is great for PCs, but for Apple products Apple.com is the best.
Man named Vinny on the corner of 4th and Main. He's only there between 2-4 a.m. so hurry quickly. He deals some crazy gadgets, they'll mess you up if you play with them for too long.
Trying craigslist today for the first time getting a 1st gen iPad for my ps3, not gonna lie, a little nervous, don't wanna get robbed ya know? Anyways anyone have some experience? What should I check other than it charges/works an the wifi?...
I usually just check if it works, check if it's damaged in any way. I don't really check if it charges or if the wifi works because usually there is no outlet to actually try charging it and there's usually no wifi as well. There is always that thought of being robbed or scammed, but in a way, you kind of have to trust them.
It tends to differ with everything I buy. There's always one place with a sale on, they're constantly battling with each other, switching prices around... it's a moving market. Sticking to one place just means you'll miss out when other places drop lower.
