On my previous phones I was able to place .doc, .ppt, .pdf, etc, files on my phone and read them on the go. With an iPhone you need a seperate application for that. Most of those apps require wifi to transfer files. Unfortunately my main pc is not linked to a wifi network and is simply wired.
Are there any apps which allow you to place files on your iPhone in a different way?

    iStorage should work.
You have to have DiskAid (freeware) installed on that pc though.

That'd be 17 dollar in total.. I read something earlier about (cheaper) apps which let you download docs using Safari and Mail. Anyone knows about those?

Evernote is a good choice, but, even though I don't mind paying, I'm not paying 5 dollar each month.

Okay, I got impatient and bought Documents To Go.
Figured 'what the heck, ill just sync with my laptop'. Turns out, even though my pc doesnt have any wifi, it is in fact linked to a router which does support wifi (for my laptop and iphone) and apparently this is enough for the syncing.
    It actually works awesome!
