Hello i need sume help here im lvl 9 and im thinking about buying the Sniper or the Sentry armor. i like close range combat and use the plasma cannon as my main weapon + i got a other question what is a better combo to use Plasma + Hook or Plasma + Rifle thx for the help
Plasma and Hook is definitely better. Especially since you've taken a liking to the Plasma. It's usually Plasma or Rifle. I'd recommend Sentry for your style of play. I find cloaking rather useless unless you like playing long range. I'm actually very pleased with Exoaquatic though. No negative attributes, cheap and boosts TS which is very important (weapon damage).
thx for the help im 70 credits away as we speak of getting to lvl 10 and i agree yes Exoaquatic is nice its cheap and it gives u alot for in return have been using it even since i got lvl 7 but should i buy the Sentry armor or wait for the next one thinking about saving for Assault armor and just upgrade my Exoaquatic armor till i can buy assault armor
A bit off topic, but asking a question in the main thread will be lost in a few seconds. Does anyone have the flames armor, or have a friend with it? I'd love to see what it looks like.
Yeh I'm saving for Assault or Tanker too. My currently upgraded Exoaquatic is working really nicely atm. I'm level 11 close to level 12.
well i dont know if the assault is good it has it upsides +DEF + TS but it has slower moving speed and lower jump. about the jump im not rlly that bothered i dont really bunny Hop around the map but i kinda miss the speed its really nice if u have level 3 Speed in Exoaquatic armor because it makes u a bit faster and its really good in combination with the plasmacannon. so im still thinking about it. but il probly buy it il just upgrade the speed of the Assault armor etc. and it looks cool 0.0 btw what do u think about the Assault armor? need sume posts about this before i'm 100% sure about buying it cause sticking with Exoaquatic armor isnt that bad really if you have it upgraded
have an idea on how to rid the forums of the constant eliminate threads and questions. it seems that people have so many questions about armour, weapons and the paying system becasue the information given is not very specefic. Perhaps the experienced players could get an account on Wikia and start a wiki on the subject. this would allow players to have an easy and accesable place to learn about the game and not flood TA. ok lets gather a group of people that are good at this game and they could start writing some articles! Well, I goofed. I meant to pick Infiltrator, yet picked infantry I fint the infiltrator armor to be pretty good on all levels, and though I havnt bought any better yet, I feel Ill probably stick with Infiltrator for a while.
I'm having a great time with the airborne armor. I'm only level 11, I think, and I can jump so high I seem to float. In areas with higher ceilings, I'm untouchable, especially with the improved speed. When I level up just a little more I'll likely be able bypass lifts and stairs and just jump onto platforms. I can already reach most of them. The only downside is the tank level.
yh i have airbourne fully upgraded in jumps (im lvl 50) and i have to admit its pretty fun, but when u get around 30, u need an other armor anyway, after that lvl, i recommend infiltrator armor, wich i use, with the elite plating oh, and yh, tanker sucks, dont buy it, waste of credits.
I'm exactly like you, same play style. I'm currently level 18 go for the sentry it is great. My guy is like halfway transparent and my plasma cannon owns. I don't really use a secondary weapon so I just keep auto rifle equipped
I've been thinking about getting the Sniper armor for it's TS and Cloaking, however I've been hearing that Infiltrator is also really good due to its speed. I have enough credits for only one of them. Any suggestions?
I use the plasma cannon as my main weapon. I don't really have a preference as for long range or close up as long as I get the kill, although I guess close up is better since it's easier to pick up the credits.
I would say go for infiltrator then, it fits much better with the plasma cannon. It also helps jack credits from other peoples kills . Welcome to TA btw! EDIT 800th Post FTW
Yeah, what is the deal with assault armor. To me it sounds like a great combination to use with the PC because according to the description it is good for close up combat. I haven't run into many people that use it, but maybe that is just because you have to be a really high level to buy it and upgrade it enough for it to be useful. Any high level folks around here have it substantially upgraded and equipped? What do you think about it? Using the PC is it better to have DEF (Assault), or speed (Infiltrator)?
