What do you think about the new KINECT for Xbox 360? Positive or Negative? I thought that overall it was good. It's great when you play alone but it has a little trouble when your playing with another person. It only detects the 2nd person about 25% of the time for me. Kinect Adventures has been fun so far for me so I'll probably be picking up Kinect Sports.

The Kinect is really great even though the game selection is a bit limited as expected right now. I even gave one as a Christmas present because it works so well. I've found that with 2 people playing, it's ideal to have this set up in a larger room where people can spread out. The sensor has a tough time when people are too close together. Definitely worth it in my opinion...

    My experience with Kinect:

It's awesome, unfortunately I can't play much as I'm having surgery on my knee in two days.

However, something to encourage your purchase of Kinect Sports:

    1) Adventures sucks compared to Sports, the games on Sports are incredibly fun, and have XBOX Live and a ranking system, so they don't get boring. Ever.
    2) All the two player sensor issues you experience in Adventures are non-existent in Sports, in fact, I played Sports before Adventures and was extremely disappointed in Adventure's two-player reading. It's near perfect in Sports.
    3) When you play online Ping-Pong in Sports, your opponent sees your hand movements and body movements, so you can scratch your ass, point to a corner than serve to another, do hip thrusts when you win, and even wave and jump around. It's the ultimate form of trash-talking.

All in all, I think Kinect is the REAL future of gaming, not Move or Wii.

I got the chance to play Kinect for a few hours, and owning Move and Wii I feel I can make a decent comparison... overall it's decent, definitely for the kids. It'll sell loads alone for the same reason the Wii does, which has everything to do with being a cool gadget and nothing to do with quality, be it good or bad. It lags more than Move does and is slightly less accurate, and combined with the fact you have no buttons means your movements have to be much more simplified and toned down than is possible with Move, so despite being a clever bit of tech, I'd put it in second place.

Both Kinect and Move smash the Wii in every way possible other than the fact Nintendo has the likes of Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong up it's sleeve, and that's where the biggest issue comes in for all three devices... the games just aren't up to scratch yet. It's all very limited and aimed at a far younger market than regular 360/PS3 games which at the moment means I don't feel the need to own Kinect, and my only reason for owning Move is Sports Champions.

I want to get the Kinect but my room is so small where I have my T.V. (I live with relatives) that it just wouldn't work out, especially with 2 players. =(

I just picked one up and i am pretty impressed with it. I also have Move and a Wii but Kinect offers a different gameplay experience.

Just picked up Kinect Sports. Let me say right now, AWESOME! Way better than Adventures. Table Tennis got me hooked for hours!

I hated it until I tried it. I've only used it for an hour or so, but it was definitely fun. I thought Adventures was pretty fun and I liked the demo of Sports, so I will hopefully get that soon.

Very nice tech... WHEN it's implemented properly... I bought Fighters Uncaged and the responsivness is terrible... But the for the dance games + sports games I'm finding it quite good.

Love being able to scroll thru menu's with gestures tho...

I'm still holding out for Sorcery on Move tho... Kinect was worth the purchase, but theres no games I'm really looking forward to for it yet tho...
