For someone who is a heavy Christian, saying GD is pretty bad. Good Job. I feel insulted now. Btw your a hypocrite telling TBOH to respect Christianity when not even you can. By saying GD your show disrespect for God.
You're officially the most ignorant person in the world if you're serious. I've lost all respect for you.
Hopefully this conversation can remain respectable, but I'd just like to point out that in my opinion the first 4 are only facts "according to the dudes who wrote the book". The second part I agree with entirely. The chances are basically nothing, but then... the universe is infinite, so given an unlimited amount of space there's a chance for every conceivable possibility to occur. The chance of life happening may be one in <insert massive number here>, but if the universe is also <insert same massive number here> big, then this is the one. We're lucky to be a part of it, but someone had to be.
This idiot is a 15 year old who doesn't know everything. Excuse his lack of knowledge as he has a big heart.
You're expecting a bit much from a discussion on religion in an iPhone gaming forum. 90% of the people in this thread, including myself, haven't really contributed positively... at all.
I honestly am quite intrigued by all the theories out there. Not because they're ridiculous or anything but it's just interesting to see what people actually think about topics such as this. With that said, I honestly don't think the universe could have happened by chance. Charles Darwin even said himself that if anything is more complicated than he thinks it is, then his whole theory would fall apart. And what do you know, during his time, they though the cell was nothing more than jelly. Again, since people don't seem to know what intellect is, I'm going to mention again that I'm not imposing anything on anyone, just stating what I think based on evidence. EDIT: ...let's keep this convo intellectual. Name-calling won't help.
Did you seriously just call me mentally handicap? Are you that low to the ground that you believe just because someone made a mistake they are mentally handicap? You a 19 year old, should be mature enough to know that stooping down that low won't prove your point. It will just make you look like a big-ass jerk. Congrats, because it seems you've achieved that status.
I'm 24, I've only studied physics at a GSCE-grade level and got straight A's (which probably doesn't mean anything to you, but it's basically education from age 12-16) but retained an interest afterwards. I do know basically what you mean about Conservation of Energy, i.e energy always having to pass itself on, not merely disappearing into nothing etc etc, but I can't remember all the scientific details. Not enough to use it in an argument.
I accept anyone taking the Bible as stories and words of wisdom, but anyone who takes it as fact I feel the need to ridicule.
