Actually they have - Sino-Indian War along with Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. Learned about both in History class .
So Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, and people of all other religions go to hell? Basically what you are saying is that unless you were "fortunate" enough to be born into a Christian family in a Christian country (which makes you Christian by proxy), you go to hell? This is why I don't like Christianity.
I'm very gullible, so I tend to believe in some invisible magical creature no one can ever prove exists, one who created everything with his magic powers cuz some old book said so with no proof that was written in a time where practically everyone was gullible and ignorant about the world around them. And if you die, guess what? You get to go to his invisible magical kingdom no one can possibly prove exists and you get to live with magical beings with bird wings. Isn't that great? I can't wait to die.
thats what i was thinking. I guess reincarnation makes the most sense out of anything. We just keep coming back. Makes snese to me
Well, i'm a Christian, and i was taught that if you lived a good life and didn't do anything very terrible, you can go to Heaven or make up for it in Purgatory. Also, they said God is very accepting, so as long as you didn't do anything really bad, no matter what religion, your welcome to Heaven. Then another one of my teacher says that there isn't any hell. If nothing happens, it will probably be an eternal, dreamless sleep. If we are reincarnated (into anything), we probably won't remember anything, like someone else just said. Although, i believe that we go to Heaven and enjoy the afterlife there. Then maybe you could ask God to come back to Earth (if you wanted too).
I personally don't believe anything in the way of religion. I don't put out the possibility of there being a higher power (god or whatnot) and I don't rule out the possibility of there not being one. Both sides of the spectrum both have questionable details. Like most non-Chrisitians have said, I believe when we just fall out of existence are in an eternal sleep state. However what I would like to believe is that we all go to a personal heaven, which is like our ideal circumstance or our "Happy Place." A scenario where everything is just what we want. Or this.
I could go on all day about this subject. But I have mixed feelings as well. All I know, is that when we die, the electricty in our bodies have to go somewhere... But all in all I believe that nothing happens. I don't believe we reincarnate, and I definitely don't believe in heaven/hell. I was raised on that sh!t and somewhere along the lines of my life I started asking questions my mother simply couldn't answer for me. More questions arose and less evidence was shown. Anyways, yeah I don't want to sound like a d*ck anymore, I am not knocking on anyone who is religious I applaud you. Everyone has the right to believe in something and be happy. I just don't see it.
As much as I would like to believe in reincarnation, i don't think it is real because that is saying that we are all reincarnated from previous ppl, but we don't remember our past lives do we? Therefore, even if reincarnation were real we wouldn't know it and therefore it would be like nothing happened...
But as I wrote in my original post, our memory could be wiped and started fresh. We could have existed billions, or even an infinite amount of times before without even knowing it. Although I still believe that nothing happens (we enter a state of eternal "sleep"). But when I think about an eternity of sleep, an eternity, somehow in my mind that doesn't seem possible. Yeah, that'd be pretty cool. I'd go and track down all the people I hate in this life (that lived longer than me) and rip them to shreds
Nice idea, it would be great if you went into, say the 4th dimension - time. Then you could time travel! Or if you were reborn on another planet that would be nice.
First, everything will go dark. Then, out of the inky blackness, giant words shall appear.... "GAME OVER"
