    1) This is a ridiculously stupid statement.
    2) I don't think you understand how important a religion is to somebody like Machida, a religious nut. They base almost everything they do around their religion so they know if they're doing something good or not.
    3) You'll be surprised how unreligious I am. I'm actually very open, and if you noticed, I'm not defending Christianity, I'm defending people calling ANY religion stupid and I'm defending people lashing out at religion ignorantly.
    4) Lol, this is funny. I've lashed back at Machida too, I just had to pick between the lesser of two evils, and he was the one during this thread. I didn't defend him at all in the other thread he created, just this one.

    1) Stop arguing with Brazilian Rider. It's pointless. If he wants to defend the most ridiculous and bloody religion in history with assumptions and insults, so be it.

Sigh, if you don't want to debate, the purpose of this thread, please leave. The only conversation I actually "started" here was asking Midian what he thought about the Conservation of Energy, the rest was just replying to people, like you.

Tell me, do you celebrate Christmas and Easter?

Why can't people think God exists? The kings (KINGS!!!!) of the time wrote the bible. Why would kings lie? Only the good ones write the bible as far as I'm concerned. How can the Earth be created by a bunch of colliding atoms?

Obviously more of the WORLD think that they will go to to heaven.

Everything has a creator. Look at a watch. When you look at it, you wouldn't question where it came from. You wouldn't think that it just appeared out of thin air. Of course it had a creator.

The whole universe is a lot more complex than a watch. Yet, you think that it just appeared in an explosion? How would an explosion have created something so complex and so organised? Everything surely couldn't have been a big accident.

To get their subjects to obey them. Ever heard of the Divine Right of Kings? And there is no telling who was a 'good' king in the past.

As to your question, 'why can't people think God exists?'. In short, the answer is that there is no solid evidence.

Yes, I do celebrate Christmas and Easter, but not for religious reasons.
Kings lie all the time, even our Queen is probably as much as a bullshitter as anyone else on the planet.

That pie chart saddens me. I can't believe that the vast majority of people are tricked/scared into believe a religion.

    AKA "the book of lies".

Oh my ****ing nonexistent-god if I hear anyone say the Bible is solid evidence again I will shit my pants.

The Kings of the time wrote the bible? Big deal. Governments are always corrupt. I find hard to fathom that the Kings of the time know more about the world than scientists today. You know that computer you're on? Yeah Science. How bout what you're sitting on? Science. Your car? Science. That toilet? Science. What has religion done for you?

Looks like science will have to prove everything in the Bible false before you guys realize the Bible isn't some book of magical truths.
