You really feel that when someone bashes your religion, you are insulting them, what they stand for, their mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, their entire life?

That's ridiculous. I've never met someone so sensitive.
I know you just like to believe that for the sake of being easily offended. I see it all the time - black people complaining about totally non-racist things just so they can feel targeted and vulnerable, thus creating attention and drawing in people to take their side. It's a psychological thing.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

You realize half the things I've talked about don't apply to me?

Christians are taught to love God above all else. Imagine the thing you love the most, and then imagine someone insulting it.

LBG, by what you're saying you obviously haven't A) loved someone or something with all your heart or B) fully grasped the importance of an object/person/thought that another person truly loves.

Until you've observed/lived through these things, you won't understand, so don't try to claim that you do.

No, atheism is a denial of a god. Most of them (not all) use science to fill the gap of religion.

What I meant by that is that people should NOT insult athiesm just like they shouldn't insult religion, because it's still a persons view on life.

That was such a small but significant mistake... I wonder how many fights have been started off of typos?

No, agnostic is being unsure/undecided as to wether there is a God or not.

What the hell. You guys argued for 5 hours become of some stupid troll? How are ghosts and UFOs related to religion? And that was only at one AM. I wonder what happened from 11-1...

Wow. Brazilian Rider, were you drunk or something? Honestly, you're crying about everyone 'bashing' christianity, and yet you're the one spewing insults. I mean you didn't come up with a single fact that whole arguement. The closest you got was the conservation of energy, and even that has a huge gaping hole you completely ignored.

Yes our electromagnetic impulses have to go somewhere when we die. Dogs, cats, animals have electrical impulses too, but they cannot go to Heaven/Hell right? Weird, huh

I quite enjoyed the topic. I didn't hear anything remotely convincing but it was nice to read and mull over nonetheless.

    I nominate Nippy.

No, agnostic is accepting that there is a higher power (a.k.a. God) however, you don't know which/ don't agree with any of the Gods of current religions.

How did this thread survive the night?

Like I told TBOH, if you read my posts, I only bash people that directly bash ANY religion.

And secondly, I think animals go to heaven, so... That gaping hole goes bye-bye.

The beauty of religion is that it's 100% your opinion and 100% customizable. If something doesn't work, or something doesn't fit, you can just "change" it.

I'm pretty sure Agnosticism is accepting there may be a higher power, but there just as equally accepting there may not, because there's no way of telling.

Well that could be it, I dunno. I'm just going with what my self-proclaimed agnostic friend told me.
