Ok ok ok, I'm not saying no there are no aliens. There may as well be. But right now, there is no evidence for them.

100% agree with your statement. Wow after all that flaming and stuff, we actually got quite a good, intellectual convo out of it. To all the Toucharcade gods, thanks for leaving this thread open :p

I'm sure somewhere else in the universe has life. It may not be intelligent life but the chances that bacteria or other orginisms live on other celestial bodies is very high.

I'll agree to this. I have faith that aliens exist. I also believe that there are powers that are greater than us, whether it be aliens, trans dimensional beings, or even a "god".

However, I don't believe any of our religions are correct, as we have a minimal understanding of the galaxy, much less the universe.

That's a classic ghost story / urban legend. Hitch-hiker that turns out to be a ghost. I think my favourite incarnation was someone telling me the story, this time involving a cop and a motorbike. He thought she (the ghost) had fallen off, but when he eventually gave up and rode into the next town, the locals told him about the girl that done died on that very same road...

I think it's definitely possible. I don't think it's a yes or no question, I think there's a probability with a percentage, only we don't know the percentage due to lack of knowledge. We find entirely new species of insects literally on an hourly basis and we've only explored 1% of the Earth's oceans... considering how little we know about our own planet I think it's unreasonable to expect us to know anything about what might be happening on planets in other galaxies.

That's common knowledge and generally agreed upon.

    On the topic of ghosts:

When one of my friends was a kid, he'd rant about seeing "spirits," so this psychiatrist tried to help him because he had a previous patient who could also see spirits... Anyways, afterawhile, my friend realized the psychiatrist was actually a ghost since he never interacted with other humans. He tells me not even the psychiatrist knew he was dead at first...

    It's kinda creepy...
