What I meant was you sy someone building a massive boat is ridiculous, yet the Egyptian's pyramids and the Mayan's near-perfect astrological discoveries seem more ridiculous to me.

 

That's how 99% of Christians (Catholics to be more specific, because that is what I am) believe.

 

I'm just going to take one point of your little paragraph and DISCUSS it (not flame it, this is an intellectual debate).

Evolution. Why do you think it happened? I'm just curious to know why, is it because you've been taught it all your life, the scientific evidence is overwhelming... why?

Also, to everyone who says the universe couldn't be created in 7 days, you seem to forget most scientists think it was created in a matter of seconds with the Big Bang theory.

I don't know how I feel, but the Bible kinda correlates with this.

"In the beginning, there was nothing."

There's literally nothing.

I googled his name when you posted it before out of curiosity and found some other video, religion aside, the guy is great, really charismatic and actually pretty funny.

 

All those sunken ships, buried treasures, a million dollars... Those don't exist.

 

Just watch it. You people seem to have no problem watching a video about some crazy radical christian, but as soon as I say the man in the video is christian, you all just dont click it? Bat outta hell, i want to know how a person with your "intellect" responds to this video

I watched it. It's great he's happy and has all that motivation, but I'm not sure he mentioned God once in that video. If it was religion that helped him out then hooray, but there are people in similar situations that are enjoying life without belief in a higher power. I love my life too, I'm happy near enough all of the time (even though a lot of what I say sounds negative, perhaps that's how I keep it out?) and I do it all on my own, without the help of any religion. All it takes is some clear, positive thinking and a couple of great friends.

 

I'm not gonna say what you should or shouldn't believe, bit it's hard to argue against evolution... Fossils, species relations, etc...
