It sounds to me like you're trying to damn anyone who has a different opinion. I'm not sure that would go down too well with most deities, it's not your job to do so.

    He probably learned from you.

I'm losing so much respect in this thread. The only one who I still fully respect is Midian, and then Shaman some for making me laugh.

Over religion? Seriously? I can't believe you're ignoring Machida's ridiculous posts because he's the only other Christian here BR.

Hmm... that's an interesting thought. If my logic is even near correct, here's what I think.

Well first off, your brain dies when you die. It will stop emitting those energy waves. The energy waves that are currently inside your body will then most likely stay inside your body and eventually move into another host like that lighting, in this case the ground. I don't think the energy or matter has anything to do with the soul though.

@Machida hey, you say you're a Christian. Act your part. I'm sincerely saying that from one Christian to another.

Over the way you're reacting. You're all flaming Christianity instead of flaming Machida, and you all know that's stupid as hell.

Not that I know tons on the subject, but from my rudimentary knowledge, could the energy not be transfered to fat, where it is stored until eaten by worms/bacteria/etc?

The articles on Wikipedia (although obviously not all totally correct) usually seem pretty well-written (and I assume are written by people who know more about the subject than me), so I'm flattered by the comparison to my posts. Thanks.

Honestly, I think Machida and Christianity are equally stupid.

Way to blow up. I believe you've gone from zero credibility into... the negatives.... I'm gonna say every star is a negative soooo.... -20 credibility.

Also, I second LBG in his statement. I have lots of friends that are religious, but people like you are the fanboys of religion.

The Golden Compass had a good explanation for this, and my own that I've devised is this.

Life survives by eating life. They need the energy to survive, and since the energy cannot be destroyed, it stays within them/us.
It becomes part of the other being, until it dies and we all become part of something else.

Think of how ADAM basically works in Bioshock 2 with the Little Sisters, except memories aren't included.

Everyone needs to chill the **** out. You can start a flame war in any thread, but some of us actually want to keep this particular topic alive.

Unless you'd all rather we just end it here. In which case the answer is: When you die, you get merged with the kijib thread.

I think the world would be a better place if Machida and religion ceased to exist.

lol, he's gone way down the credibility scale. When he dies he's going to die again from a heart attack after he realises that Heaven doesn't exist :p

Listen, I am sorry if I insulted another religion or point of view. I have many muslim, jewish and atheist friends at school. I dont want to explode on this thread like that, but there are some things people say that just set me off. I.e.
My birth was uncalled for, and insults to God. Just because Im a Christian, doesnt mean Im the lady in the video. I just dont understand why all these well spoken people such as Midian like to bash Christians, it singles me out and all you other Christians here, I am open to possibilities but I am firm in my faith. Im sorry once again If I insulted any ones beliefs, I am in no ways a radical Christian, just a guy with an opinion
