Dude, don't take shame in working anywhere when 14.9 million Americans are out of work. Pat yourself on the back!
No kidding, most of the douche bags I knew when I was 15 just mooched off their parents. Hope you're saving your cash for a car, as turning 16 and having the cash for your own junker that you worked your ass off for pretty much owned.
Classic case of "intended as a joke, but actually true" right here. Everyone I know that bought a car that young ended up regretting it. They busted their asses just to pay for lessons and the car itself, and now they're broke 24/7 because every paycheck goes to repairs, insurance, gas etc... they can afford to drive it, but they've got nothing left to spend when they get there.
I spend my summer vacation at my job. The rest of the year at school. To top it off I only get paid for 20 hours, not the 40 hours I work a week. Woooooo
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I am saving towards a car, but I'm not putting my whole paycheck towards it. I'm definitely gonna get a new ipod touch this september, if nothing else. First on the list though, Starcraft 2.
im doing work for me dad....im taking care of the broilers....not exactly fun...but he said he will pay me well
PostDoc university researcher (with a temporary position, for now). My main interests outside research are movies and gaming.
I'm currently a High School student hoping to get a scholarship for Basketball. Hopefully going on to College and making it to the NBA. In my free time I love to work on my mac and ride my quad at the dunes.
Aren't we all....seems like it! College is College, why go to play sports? Maybe play to get in and a good scholarship, but you must be a helluva bballer to even play College ball, NBA ball? PShh, you best be going somewhere AWESOME! I'm not trying to be a jerk, but look at the odds. Now go ad defy those odds .
I am a helluva good ball player, not meaning to brag, because I absolutely HATE bragging, but I've scored 42 points in a game and 12 assists, triple the previous record at my school.
