I believe in aliens. By no means is that 'wacky'. The existance of aliens is very believable (unlike religion) and it is highly likely (certain, in my mind) that aliens exist. If you think of the size of the universe and how much of it is unexplored, there HAS to be some other lifeform.
I'd say I'm a Christian, however not a verry good one. With regards to evolution vs creationism, I don't have an opinion either way. I am not educated enough in the subject to make a decision and have seen flaws in both sides.
What if the most intelligent way is to kill? well, it doesn't have 0% evidence, just flimsy evidence. Also everything we know about science might just be God using his omnipotence to create "rules" we may think that certain chemicals react, when he just magically changes them round?
I was just about to post the same thing. What about situations where the invader/one who is being killed has not accepted attempts at democracy or diplomacy, and the defeat of the invader is the only option to preserve yourself, your home, or your family? I am in no way saying this is how radical Muslims can justify their actions, merely making a point in order to preserve my right to self-defense.
