Watched TV, play games and a little house choirs! I'm dreaming of that one day this routine will change something like doing things I've never done before, maybe an adventure or an extreme sports or out of town trip ^^

@JBRUU - My middle son just graduated with his BS in chemistry. Starting a PhD program this fall. He is happy that he is moving on. Your comments look like you are still in the middle of a lot. It gets better (at least one has to look for that) - but to some extent, our world view is what we make of it. As I tell people every day - if you wake up in the AM convinced it is going to be another crappy day - the chances are you will be right...

I know you have a lot going for you - you are a smart guy, read more books in a couple weeks than many people read in years... Keep the faith brother!

And if one considers our lives boring - think about people 100 years ago, probably spending most every day of every week just trying to get by. We at least have the advantage of having quite a lot (relatively) of leisure time.

So - I spend my weekend arguing with my wife on the state of the world, try and get my sons to agree with me once in a while, watch some movies and spend some time reading and playing video games. :D I know - boring, but probably most of life is, and when looking back, the "boring" times are what the stuff of relationships are, and what I remember about the good family times and friends.

Not really, I chose this degree because job security was the best aspect of it. Everyone needs a civil engineer, and besides, the field's been around for over 4000 years, so I think I have a good chance of staying employed. :D

Play lots of Boardgames, Play lots of WoW. Play lots of Heroes Charge and Rival Stars, Watch Avengers 2. Go to Cafes, Got to Adrenaline Forest (NZ) and climb about on ropes and flying foxes. Cook a roast chicken and eat it while watching Agent Carter episodes.
So pretty much a normal weekend for me.
