I'd love to be able to do reviews. What camcorder do you all have, how do you hold it, do you have a tape based one or hard drive based one, any good deals, etc? Thanks!
I haven't taped gameplay off of the device, but I have read that some devs use anything from basic camcorders on the low end to stuff like prosumer cams like the HV30 right up to lower pro stuff like RED cams. Obviously most use tripods, angled over the player's shoulder and focused on what is playing on the device, as anything otherwise would be much too shaky. Don't know the settings they'd record at, though. Probably stick to standard def @ 30fps though.
