In the video at 0:18, you can see that the game system loads in objects only when they are just a short distance away. At 0:17, there is no car visble, driving down the road. At 0:18, there is. I think this could allow for a larger world to explore, and less lag. What does everyone reckon?
Honestly, it looks awesome. I heard from some site reviewing this iPhone game said it had almost 100 blocks of city. And it already looks great. I'm sure GameLoft knows what they're doing with this one. I just hope for a good framerate and good stability. No one likes a laggy game that crashes all the time. Even if the game is awesome.
wonder if this is going to be more than $10....could be one of those "premium" games apple talks bout
. everyone here is having big dreams for the game i dont know about gameloft they never update anything ...i would like to see something like vice city ...i liked that game and how good are the graphics going to be?
Well, let me put it this way. It's going to be Gameloft's biggest game in their history. Here is some actual gameplay footage. That video was taken and made on the iPhone 3GS. The video is just playing on a computer. The city in game is supposed to be a direct replica of Los Angeles. I forgot how to get what website told me, but this game has around 100 city blocks in its map. It's definitely going to be good, and quite like Vice City.
