So, what are you guy's favourite "just-one-more-go" type games? You know the kind of game... the game where you play a very quick round for a coupla minutes or so, and then when it's finished, you tell yourself "what the heck, I'll just play one more go", and then when that go is finished, you say it again. And again. And again. And before you know it, you've been playing the game for a coupla hours, never mind a coupla minutes! So what are your favourite games then? The criteria for them is that they should be both instantly and infinitely playable — and what I mean by that is that you should be able to just pretty much jump straight into the game from launching, and for the game to be non-"predetermined-level"-based, ie: different every time you play, and for there to be no "end" to the game unless by your own error/death, etc. I tend to prefer these games much more than the "deeper" mission-based games. Mine are, in no particular order: Parachute Panic Skybound Kryzer Prologue iCopter Flight Control Tell us yours, and hopefully we can all pick up a few new great games!
Paper Toss Jump on the Building I dunno, most of my games are usually RPG type or turn based strategy, so not much I can add.
In no particular order off the top of my head. Baseball Superstars Flight Control Touchgrind Beatmaker (I am aware its not a game but I love this app!!!)
Here are mine: Kryzer (I played this for 6 hours straight once, on a train from Amsterdam to Berlin) Monster Pinball (I'm really crap at it, but I just keep coming back) Centipede (In Ultra Mode...what else) Skybound (I try not to play this because I know if I do I can't stop) PewPew (I love 'Dodge This' mode) 2079 (I wish I had never seen this game) Camelot (The best 2D Arkanoid I've played so far)
Hotdog panic has taken all of my bathroom time for two weeks now hope moe people play so global high score gets more challanging
you're sick. Even if you wash your hands I doubt you use rubbing alcohol to disinfect your iphone. Remind me not to shake hands with you. also, playing "hotdog panic in the bathroom" sounds a little dirty oh and my list: 1. pinball dreams 2. real racing 3. Tiger Woods 4. Real Tennis 5. Monster Pinball I would put kryzer on there but after the first 4 days I stopped playing it so much, but it does have that "please more" feeling.
Quick Turn (amazingly polished, FREE little gem) Flight Control ('nuff said) 3D Tunnel Vision (but after beating it after the fifth try, meh...) TTR2 (I keep trying to reach 100% on extreme songs. I usually do, too) Space Ninja (a classic) Tunnel (simple and elegant) Exorcist (highly recommend it, very unique) Light Wars (one of my all time faves) Paper Toss (making a shot is just so satisfying)
Wow. Total fail on understanding what a "just-one-more-go" type of game is. It was explained pretty well in the O.P. I thought...
I got a couple of those nifty little games... Here's my list 1. Park it (crazy nice parking game and seriously addictive, try it, it's only $0.99!!) 2. Flight Control 3. Real Racing Three superb games IMO /J
Not everyone likes these crappy thrown-together Flash/Java like games that should be free... For me, it's Peggle.
Flight Control should be free then, you reckon? And yes, you are correct, not everyone likes these games. So this particular thread is for those of us who do.
