Anytime. Sorry that I'm such a tough music critic; music is my life. Re listening to Wonderful - Gary Go
no need to be sorry So far I have about equal positive and negative comments from everybody who has responded to it for me. As a musician and artist I take everything with a grain of salt. - it is good just to have an ear to the ground and get actual responses to see where something is sitting generally. Peter Gabriel - Sky Blue Edit: Beck - Mixed Bizness
The Mooney Suzuki - Shake That Bush Again. It's on Burnout 3 which I was playing, but it's a really good song. I've only heard a bit by them, but all of it was good, so I think I'll listen to some more of their stuff later.
Just finished listening to Cousins by Vampire Weekend to see what it was like, and it was pretty good. I'd enjoy playing it on Guitar Hero (which was the only reason I looked it up). I'm now listening to Panic Attack by Dream Theater, and it's an amazing song. I'm really starting to like Dream Theater. I can really see where they influenced Between the Buried and Me, one of my absolute favorite bands if you couldn't tell yet.
Best song lyrics ever. It goes from talking about pizza to how advertising makes him insane. Gotta love it. I think the next time I order pizza, I'll order it exactly like that, yelling at the guy to give me pepperoni and green peppers, mushrooms, olives, chives (and that was from memory). As you can tell, I love that song. Nice pick.
Since we're talking about Steal This Album, does anyone have info on an alternate version? Maybe a pre-master or something? Before the album came out I downloaded it, then after I bought the CD I noticed the tracks were different, most notably the fact that Shavo's vocals were much louder and more obvious while the one I downloaded was mostly just Serj. Anyway, I'd already deleted it and I've never been able to find it again. It's annoyed me ever since. Edit: apparently this was my 8000th post. Now I'm off to buy myself a life, unless there's a port on the App Store.
I'm pretty sure they're just alternate disc images but the album is the same. I've got the skull one.
