Bought Pac-Man CE.. Starwalk I still have a whole list of "TO BUYs" from this sale but my rational self is telling me to lay off as I probably won't be able to play most of them! >_>
Bought: Game Dev Story Phantasy Star II Gamebook Adventures 3: Slaves of Rema Full price: Sentinel 3 Considering: Katamari I already had almost everything decent that went on sale.
Bought: Azkend Going to buy: Billabong surf trip .99 Defender Chronicles Legend of The Desert King .99 EpicWin
I bought so far: - Pac-man CE (Best pac-man game out there) - Monster Feed (Amazing TD) - Zen Bound 2 (Universal awesome $1 game) I bought Sentinel 3 too, but it's not on sale.
I've been a pretty big whore on the App Store the past three days. So far I've bought: Let's Golf 2 HD Warheads Splinter Cell HD Shrek Kart HD Shrek Forever After HD Iron Man 2 HD Robokill Brothers in Arms 2 HD Archibald's Adventures Asphalt 5 Super Monkey Ball 2 The Secret of Monkey Island SE for iPad The Secret of Monkey Island 2 SE for iPad Geometry Wars 100 Rogues Vector Racing Heroes of Sparta 2 HD Jelly Car 2 on iPad Ash (free) Phantasy Star II Bust a Marble (free) Death Cop: Mechanical Unit (free) I'm probably not done yet either.
More or less more of the same. Better handling, new levels, better graphics, but pretty much what you expect from a sequel.
I will have to literally wait until I get the bill to list everything I picked up. Most were free or on sale, only one I got not on sale was Cop. I was also a downloading whore, lol.
I bought it too for this sale, I'm not at all a Gameloft hater (nor a fan) but if I remember well it's first game of them I find totally boring, could be just the beginning of the game as I couldn't play it much.
I bought: Jet Car Stunts ($0.99) Sims 3: Ambitions ($0.99) ChuChu Rocket! ($0.99) Thought of buying Madden NFL 11, but I look over it and it's not worth a dollar. The gameplay is awesome and stuff, but EA always updates the game every year, so it's not even worth buying it's only a matter of time before they make Madden NFL 12. Also thought of buying Tetris, Homerun Battle 3D, and The Settlers, but I didn't have enough money. I'm on a iTunes gift card budget. Hopefully I'll buy some of the apps I didn't buy on Black Friday during Christmas.
WHAT?! You didn't get The Settlers ?.. I bought the HD version when it first launched and still thought it was well worth it! IIRC, never has Settlers dropped in price.. and for 99cents instead of the usual US$9.99..
Okay, but I got a question for you. Do you recommend EA's Command & Conquer or Gameloft's The Settlers, because after I thought over it. I might buy it, but I need some more info on the game.
Don't have C&C on iPad. So I can't comment on that. But, I have Settlers HD on iPad. If you have grown up, like me, playing The Settlers and all of it's versions on the PC. You'd feel at home with this iPad port. It's awesome stuff. But, only recommended if you enjoy/love/feel at home with this game. The game mechanics and all is similar to that of the PC version. The tutorial isn't very good at all, doesn't teach you much, if at all. The game is far more complicated than what the tutorials teaches it to be. And, I'd rather you have first hand experience with the game on the PC before playing it on the iPad. That said. for 99cents, what the hell?
This American Life (non-gaming) Nota (non-gaming) Mahjong Elements Lego Harry Potter Hero of Sparta 2 Madden NFL 11 Let's Golf 2 Ridge Racer Accelerated Split/Second Ash (Free) Hybrid: Eternal Whisper Bounce On Bounce On 2 (maybe these last 2don't count cuz I got them over a week ago) Archibald's Adventures Beyond Ynth Heroes of Kalevala Linkoidz Wispin Radio Flare Redux Vizati (free) Pretty much every other notable game that went on sale, I already had.
Actually I play The Settlers on my friend's iPod Touch. The screen was small, so controlling the people were very difficult. The tutorial for me was very understandable, so I play the game with no problems. Also has a South Korean I have a love for RTS games, so what the hell thanks for the info! I'll buy it right now.
Cool! My friends who had have no prior experience on The Settlers before were totally stuck at chapter 3 of episode one when the tutorial finally ended. That's where my view came from.
The Settlers Master Of Alchemy Defender Chronicles I would buy something more, but I it's only a waste of money: I have few spare time to play
