I agree 100% with Isoword - I've wasted so much time on that game.
Playman Track and Field - such a fun little game
    Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics
    Horror Racing
Broken Sword Director's cut - not exactly a 'hidden gem' but it hasn't got the attention it should have. A phenomenal adventure game.
Dark Void Zero - another not so 'hidden gem' but not much attention given to it.
icombat - great little pocket tank game
Isle of 8 bit treasure - Next to sword of fargoal, it's the best rogue like game out there yes even better than 100 rogues(ver 1.01). Has its quirks but I love this game.
World Cup Table Tennis - feels like a real ping pong game. I Really enjoy this one.

Hmmm. Some of the ones I really like that no one ever talks about....

Colorcross- picross(nonogram) with the added complication of different colors in the puzzle. Fantastic evolution of the gameplay.

Hydrotilt xL- a ball rolling game but with a water droplet that changes states. A very very polished fantastic title I never ever hear about.

Minim- a brain melting logic game that's extremely polished and is not for the faint of heart.

And last but definitely not least

unify- a match 4 style falling block game that is also wonderfully polished but the hook is that you control two pieces heading towards the center at the same time with both thumbs. It's really fun how much this changes how you think instead of just guiding 1 piece to the bottom. Also a good presentation of multitouch in a game.

All of these games are A+ games and I can't figure out why they don't have the hype that many other games do.

Also. Chuzzle. A super fun sliding match 3 game from pop cap that may not be exactly a hidden gem... But I do feel like it's the redheaded step child of pop caps line up... Compared to the hype and coverage all of their other games get... This is like someone abandoned it and threw it down a well. I actually have all of popcaps lineup and this is one of my favorites.

probably there are a lot of games that don't get the attention they deserve, but the first that came in my mind is Newtonica 2.
