Oh I only played 2 minute games which would translate to around 7,000 to 8,000 on five minutes. When I started playing I believe there was only one mode and I just got used to it. I also never changed the tiles or fonts.

That's assuming you can keep up the same pace. No doubt once you get all the singulars/plurals and three-letters out of the way, it gets a bit tougher. ;)

The exact numbers don't matter because in all seriousness, I don't remember them and it's been a long time since I played Wurdle. (Just trying to cover my bases here so I don't look like a dummy ;)) I'm not lying about the high scores, though, they were beyond feasible.

Thank you for all the great advice guys!!

I particularly want to thank the people who took the time to point out games that are on sale right now.

And I really really want to thank the people who explained what the game they're recommending actually is (RTS or TD or Platformer or what not) and/or what's so good about it. I was getting overwhelmed by the huge huges lists of games I've never heard of that everyone was posting and it made it a lot easier to follow.

I've purchased about a 140 apps (most of them free) and spent about $40 on various games by small developers (I love strategy games and the iPhone is packed with them!!!) and Documents to go thanks to you guys.

I downloaded the lite versions of some 10+ games and wound up buying all of them. Anything under $2 is an impulse buy for me. My wallet feels lighter already :)

I just discovered I Dig This by InMotion Software, purely by accident. Polished, addictive, multifaceted, pure awesome.

It's a bit hard to describe--you're a farmer digging in his back yard for valuable stuff and you end up mining deep into the ground till you start feeling a bit claustrophobic. You have to watch your fuel meter to make sure you can get back out, think about how you're going to dig, watch out for overheating at lower depths, consider what will make enough money to be worth the trip (fuel costs) and make sure not to bang yourself up too badly on the way. You can also buy upgrades, but if you run out of fuel on a mining run, that's it, game over. It's a combination of arcade, strategy, casual and intense.

Played till my battery ran out, I swear. No idea why I haven't read about it on sites like this one yet. Go see for yourself: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=314864297&mt=8

Warpack Grunts: (Not sure of the genre)
    Worms: (Artillery)

I love RTS games like Command & Conquer, but I only want to get one RTS for one to hold me over until Red Alert 3 for the iPhone gets released (yes EA is making it :) )

So which should I do. I heard the two good ones are warefare inc and quantum collapse.

Are they indeed well worth getting. If so, which do you think is the better one. Or is there something else on the horizon I should get instead.

    Thank you.

Get quantum collapse because the Warfare Inc people hasn't been participating in the forums in a long time and quantum collapse right now is on sale and if you want multiplayer be sure to tell other people who has iPhone or iPod touch to buy it because if he doesn't get the required money well say goodbye to multiplayer on quantum collapse.

Thank you so much. Which is the better game to show off my iPhone for now.

I do care about graphics (which I hear War Inc is lacking in, along with ai) and polish (which I've heard QC is lacking in), as well as gameplay. But people seem to be complaining about the graphics of both games. I can't tell from the screenshots or videos which game looks better.

I was going to start with Quantum Collapse, but then I saw that Warfare Inc. has a lot more downloads/reviews and won some awards and what not so I wasn't sure which is the more polished game. Is Warfare the more mainstream game. Is it more polished, if so I'll get that and then get Quantum Collapse when that gets an update.

Also, has Warfare Inc. ever gone on sale before that you know of. It's at $5 right now. If it has gone on sale before, I'll just get it when the next sale for it drops.

Feel free to PM me if you have negative impressions about either game and didn't want to post them here. Thank you so much.
