I have notices that nearly every good icon has like horizon lines going from the character/Objects to the edge.

this one rulez the shape with the rounded edges of the iPhone icons becomes the edges on a 3D camera illustration, very cool!
Very nice! Almost tricked me into thinking it wasn't the correct shape. As for me, I think most icons are well made. Trainyard I love though just for it's simplicity.
My favorites: The icons for Tapbots: Convertbot, Weightbot, Pastebot Apple's Remote icon Bit Pilot Drop7 Edge Solomon's Boneyard Squareball Vector Runner I am a fan of the minimal.
This one is really Brilliant, Something similar, but not as great is... Classics Multiball pinball from matmi, FarmBreak, Blimp, Goin Nutty, Newest StarDunk, Inskrumental, Critter Crunch, GravBot, Violinist, Rolando 1 & 2 are my other favorites.

The first Circuit strike One Icon, when there was a skull. The second is good, because it kept the simplicity of the first but the ship feels less... striking.
Does anybody feel that the logo of "Don't Fall Off" can be outstanding among various other logos? You can try to find it among hundreds of games, and I'm sure you'll find it easily by its dramatic facial expression.
Indeed, the facial expression has me hooked by the first sight, but it seems that it lacks creativity by only a round face in the logo.
