Yeah. I liked the first first half of season one, but the second part was rubbish imo. I have yet to watch season two, but iirc it was set in a world more like an FPS.
I don't know if you would count Fairy Tail as that (it's kind of more like the FMA world than say Tazai or Akame ga kill) but it's fairly entertaining. If you have time, watch the first couple of episodes.
Fantasy/medieval shows I have watched so far: Akame ga Kill!, AoT, Berserk, Fairy Tail, Kiba, Log Horizon and Sword art online.
Some medieval I've watched: Akame ga Kill, Escha & Logy no Atelier: Tasogare no Sora no Renkinjutsushi, Hataraku Maou-sama! (aka Devil is a part timer), Hitsugi no Chaika & S2, Log Horizon, Madan no Ou to Vanadis, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, Ookami to Koushinryou (aka Spice and Wolf), Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis, Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, and Zero no Tsukaima. Honesty my recommendation would vary depending on your experience with anime as some may not be enjoyable depending on your taste. Safe bets are Hataraku Maou-sama!, Spice and Wolf, Shingeki no Bahamut, and Log Horizon (maybe Hitsugi no Chaika). Other are highly dependent on taste or have little enjoyment unless the source material is read.
