Tell me about. I once was watching an ongoing anime and I got to the 12th episode out of 13 and ended up never finishing it. It wasn't terrible either. I start a lot of anime only to find other stuff soon afterwards, so I totally know the feeling. I need to start cracking down on that!
Great question. Damn, I need to think about that! I think first place for non-comedy would be Monster and second place would be Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, but third place is going to be a nightmare to choose! I'm excited to see other lists as well. As far as comedy goes, I have to figure out what I have even watched.

Same here but trying to decide if I still like it. What I wouldn't give for a more Gundam-style (Mecha vs. Mecha) show instead of yet another tentacle monster with a videogame weakness (Looking at you Bubblegum Crisis reboot!)
I've just started 'Is this a Zombie' and it is something else lol My favorite anime so far is Steins;Gate, the story is so perfect!
