I finally saw the original Ghost in the Shell movie yesterday. Really good stuff! The animation looks fantastic, especially since it came out in 1995. I'm usually not a fan of the older style but this was off the charts good. Now I'm pretty excited to watch the series.
It's like Devil is a Part timer. You want a second season but you know you'll probably never get one :-(
Well it depends if you like a little history since it's basically during the time of the unification of Japan. The battles are pretty good but there's always the sad wanting of more.
Me and my wife are watching an episode or 2 of Cooking Master Boy each day. LOL... Pretty hilarious stuff, gets us hungry right after. Just overall pretty fun and entertaining show.
Kekkai Sensen is absolutely amazing. The best thing to come out in the past few seasons imo. Everything from the animation to the music is very well done.
//DISCLAIMER: I only watched season one and I heard that Gungale was much better but I have yet to watch that. This is explicitly my thoughts on season one (SAO and whatever the second game was called) That was the second anime I watched but I don't have the same feelings as you. The first ten or so episodes were actually really good, but it steadily got worse after that to the point where I honestly got so sick and tired of the characters and the annoying melodrama with the sister (cousin?). Plus, the video game aspect, the main reason for me starting the show, became almost nonexistent. Pls no haterino only my opinionerino ;_;
Ain't no thang, I completely understand. Although you might like Kill la Kill better. Dunno, more crazy fun.
Currently I'm a quarter through My Bride Is A Mermaid. It's definitely better than the last dozen harem series that I've watched.
