wouldnt it be cool to have a huge, huge free roaming world where you have no missions and set stories? I mean, a GTA game without the boring and annoying stuff. No cops to chase you, just you and the world to mess around with. Everything could be interactive! kinda like the transformers game for the PS2, where you can wreck cars and buildings and stuff. You could be able to swim in a pond or a sewer, shoot things for no reason, cause a major traffic jam or a nuclear meltdown, commit suicide, ANYTHING!!!! It can be a huge game if it is done right, with dedication and updates. Seriously, i would buy this for any price- it would be successful since there arent much free roaming games in the appstore. what do you think?
The game I've always wanted to see made is a sim/RTS combo that lets you build up small planetary colonies, steer the local government towards moral or immoral means of generating income (such as drug and slave trades) and the game switches to RTS missions at certain points based on your in game choices. For instance, sending a small posse of local law enforcement to clear out or defend a drug lab located under a local saloon with failure leading to the structures explosion. The goal of the game is to grow your colony in simulation mode and defend your colony in RTS missions.
If you like that get pocket god. It's the closest to what you describe. Pointless random things to do. I personally got bored of that really fast. lmao
Agreed, lol. Even though you get constant updates, you only play the new update for about 13 seconds before getting bored of it.
to all who said it would get boring quickly- imagine- you can do whatever you wanted as everything will be interactive!! Physics implemented! It would be sorta like Sims gone wild! With good graphics, physics and gameplay, i think it wouldbe reasonably big...
It'd get boring pretty fast. You basically just took the best things out of GTA. Awesome cop chases & shootouts, and missions giving you things to do. The game you're talking about is basically just Merceneries with cheats activated by the way, it sucks compared to GTA. You could also try Just Cause 2 later this year.
