I'm current loving this so far. It's one of the best games for iOS! Can't wait to see new content from the devs. What are coming in the next update? When will be live? I'd like to see more modes for this game.
The Graphics is awesome loved the game play and the whale moves across.... Bought this game recently....:/
Ended up picking this up for my kids... But I put it on my device too, and it's really not bad at all.

Great update and it added a lot of extra fun to this game. Challenges are very fun and some are extremely challenging. The one thing I didn't like was how the challenge levels were unlocked... Usually in most games, you unlock the next level by finishing the previous level. Duh right? But in whale trail, you have to get a certain number of (total) stars to unlock the next level. This isn't a problem at the beginning but the requirements get pretty crazy in the last ~10 levels. For example, the last level... you won't even unlock it until you've 3 starred like 80% of all levels and 2 starred the rest. Of course, you can bypass this with the IAP of $1.99 which unlocks all levels... Not a problem for hardcore players who are gonna 3 star everything or the players willing to pay $1.99... Different story for the more casual players. But hey, the challenges are awesome and the last one is LONG and fun. PS - So I've gotten 3 stars on every level except 1-9... any help? I see 7 people have gotten 96 stars and like 20+ have 95 stars... everyone stuck on 1-9?
I'm completely addicted to this game, I love it! Has anybody else had any problems with their achievements disappearing? It's kept my high score and other info. But when I go to play through it I'm getting the same achievements I got ages ago!
Hmm, sharing progress doesn't seem to work for me. I see the app in iCloud settings, and all of my achievements are showing on both devices, but my iPhone doesn't show my high scores or have any of my stars on the first challenge pack.
I dunno... To me it is because I'm used to the old whale trail. It's lost it's charm. My biggest hate is frenzy mode now lasts a few seconds..I used to love sailing through the air listening to that mellow tune and sucking up all the blubbles. You may as well not even have the frenzy bonus anymore. And just about everything is based on krill now you need krill for EVERYTHING
