First off Mr 4.0 - it is "you're crazy" not "your crazy" but hey it's the internet so who cares right? Which leads to the second point of my post - it is the internet who cares? Why do you WANT to fight? Why do you CARE to fight? Why are you baiting? I agree - u just really mad. If anything, they are asking a little too little for the game. Everyone has gotten so used to the idea of iOS games being super cheap, yet they want console quality titles, but don't wanna pay console quality price. The iDevices are portable consoles and its about damn time we start seeing console quality prices. You get what you pay for. Do some research before you purchase the game, or wait till you are all 18 and then apply for your own credit card. Stop bitching is you are using your parents credit card to buy games. I have no problem spending more money on a game if I like the game. Compared how long you can have fun with a game to a DVD is ridiculous. And I am even more willing to pay more money for indie games because I know the money goes to people mainly interested in creating fun things.

The truth is that no one knows the truth about how the iOS market would respond to different types of stimulus since it's generally remained systematic for the few years it has existed. The guy is basing his arguments on logic from other markets and past experiences in the video game/business world, and most of his points are definitely on target. However, like I said, we really don't know since the AppStore is so different from any video game market in history. There's two sides to this fight just like most dicussions in the world. Try $20,000 a month for housing 100+ employees. Enix utility bill= Electicity=$8,000 a month. You think running all those computers are free , think again. QuadCore processors 10GB running memory computers that we wont see in the market until 10 years from now, unless we have money. Enix Staff = Professional Programmers = $50,000-$70,000 a year. These are professional programmers and artist/animators and game designers. They work overtime making games for you to enjoy and sometimes not even getting paid for the overtime. Marketing and ADs= For IOS magazines and media outlets rates from $300-$500 dollars per ADs spot. So now do you people get the point already . Do your own research , making quality games isnt cheap. They have to remake the game even if its a port. They dont just transfer the game over , they have to recode it and redraw it to fit the IOS device. Now do you still think thier prices are to high ? $16 - 30% cut that apple takes = $12 left $12- 30% tax from the government = $9 $9 for a console quality game isnt expensive or price gouging at all . Thats the price of a used game , which final fantasy 3 is a used game. Now my main point is we shouldnt be afraid to pay for quality.
