I'm fine with those. It's the purchasable gold I'm worried about... This just went from instabuy to wait for extended impressions and reviews for me.
YAY! There it is, Pitta! The from both of us expected Warhammer Quest IAP complaints (regarding character/expansion pricings)!
No way my post should have been moved here. My concern was legitimate. It's a $5 game with consumable IAP. They're asking money up front for a game that may very well be balanced around consumable IAP. This is an issue of game balance. Mods made a bad call
It's because of the post you quoted, not your individual concerns. Feel free to re-post those in the original thread as they were quite valid, but price whining specifically will end up here.
It's not like GW is holding a gun to your head and force you buying gold per IAP. There are people who want the easy way and more gold in the beginning. This is just a purchaseable cheat. Pitta pointed out (several times) that the balance is fantastic.
This post must have been moved but what game were you on about ? If a games high priced and its by a smaller team then you can see why they may go for a bigger price. Large companies or 'big devs' can afford to go with a lower price as they have a huge amount of money for publicity/marketing etc. Its difficult to compare prices as a small team might go for a higher price just to 'survive'. Look how many people moan about a game being two dollars and then wait for a price drop. Must be depressing for devs. To me a $8 is still cheap compared to games i bought in the 80's and 90's when i had far less money.
My post have been moved.. But i think i'll just keep the game title for myself.. I dont like to hurt devs
If that's poor form, my apologies. I surely don't think its in any way rude or crass. This game doesn't look appealing to me, even a little bit, but its so critically acclaimed I can't get over the desire to try it. I am never the guy that says iOS games are too expensive. I'm the guy that's much more likely to buy a $5 game than d/l a free one. With this, however, I can't justify rolling the dice for $6. A sale would do nothing but help the devs. Their tail has to be nearing an end...
