Good to read but then I wonder why you didn't selected Dracula Path of the Warrior part 3, that was free today. You really didn't think it doesn't worth the selection? Also did you tested Solitaire Siege and EZ Fighters (free today too)? I'm surprised they don't worth more than Nastyroids. No that I played any of the 3 unlike the Dracula in its HD version. I'll continue check your suggestions with curiosity.
Everyone has there own opinions. Solitaire doesn't appeal to most people however there are a few that love it. So for those few thats great! Also, I stop looking for apps that go on sale for today after a while. Im set up and watching for tomorrow by this time so if it wasn't free this morning it doesn't make the slim cut. I was just thinking and want to know everyones opinion on something. I know there is a lot of fuss about this topic and I really want to differ myself even more from regular free app sites. I have a few ideas but I need everyone else to help out too. Does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking maybe including a short demo of the apps to give you more of an idea of what the game is about and whether or not you want to download. Think that sounds good? My 2 cents, concentrate on evaluating deeply enough as many free game than possible and write clear short comments about each. Don't put on your shoulders more work. Making a good video is a huge amount of effort and time. I have one suggestion for you but don't see how you could manage it financially, make a similar sales selection. If you feel it you could make two lists, "must try"and "worth try".
That is why you have to broaden your recommendations to more than just what you like. Several people agreed with Quell and Solitaire Siege yet you do not enjoy those kinds of games. People will watch this thread in the beginning sure but when they realized you are choosing 4 or 5 of YOUR favorites and no more than that they will return to the methods they used before you came to us with your generosity. People really like Solitaire, especially on the iDevices. Especially since that might not be a game many people want to pay for (though I did) and so would be HAPPY it is free because it is something they wanted all along. (oh but wait, that is what the wish list feature in appshopper is for) Well, do what you want, listen however you please, but do realize that for some of us you are coming across a bit arrogantly, unbending, and stubborn.
And your back again New England...I really thought I showed my nice side to you yesterday but apparently you turned a blind eye. People can watch this post if they want and some may not want to. There is not one little thing pulling anyone to watch this post every day. And as someone posted before "if Hodapp posts it must be good." So let your opinion be as it may but somehow post after post upon post of your criticism you just keep coming back. Im beginning to think you as the culprit fitting the description of your remarks. This post is about me telling people: hey these are the apps I like and some I think are okay. Download if you want, otherwise don't waste your time posting rude remarks and trying to demoralize a person who already has a strong barrier of praise around them according to about 1/3 of the posts on this thread. Pretty funny actually since I am the one that is suggesting how to make improvements on your services but you see them as criticisms; but the real criticisms come not only blatantly but as sarcasm. But again, whatever, you are always right - I actually came to see what people were saying about the free games today, had an idea (still) that you should expand your list, noticed someone else mentioned a game I mentioned and commented. You say to keep the negativity out of the thread - but it is you that are being negative to me. I wasn't being negative I was making a suggestion but you are looking at anything other than "wow you are awesome" as an insult. My comment about appshopper wish list was pretty much to point out that if someone is waiting for a free game they can get notified of the price drop by that service and it wouldn't matter if you included it on the list or not. Why am I justifying trying to help you when you obviously formulated the wrong opinion about me? nvm.
Wooo you are very attached to details, in my language it's named flies ****er. Path of the Warrior, Path of the Dragon, it's all the same. @New England: Select game you don't like for any reason and because you think some will enjoy them is the best way to start select crap. But yes I understand your arguing about the point.
