I have requested for one of the mods to change the chatroom from deleted to locked and closed, minus the last 3 days of all the contraversies. It is up for them to decide what to do. I thought there was alot of good info on there like tutorials, history, game compilations, and more. I will agree with you, but it is in the mods hands now.
I'm getting mixed messages about this. I was told by Killercow that if I didn't "spam the link" and if Eli was ok with it, it was fine. I was told that Eli didn't mind, albeit from Connector. See all these 2nd and 3rd parties here? Then You, Echo and I believe Red1 seem to take the opposite position. I do not want to get into any trouble, I just want a consensus/final word so I know what is and isn't OK. I tried pming Eli but I got no response. It's not like we're promoting SlideToPlay or 148apps, this is just a chatroom site. So really what I'm trying to say is, can we have a final word on this? It's confusing and a little unfair to us.
Jbruu, I never said that. Eli has never been in talks with me about the use of outside sites. That has mainly come from red1. Also from squarezero, neg, and some other mods. I stated that Eli supports the chatroom and nothing more. That was apparent in him coming into the chatroom and saying hello. I have probably spoken to 8 mods since the creation of the chatroom, it has gotten confusing at times cause sometimes each mod has different opinions on things. First the offsite stuff began with squarezero, then echoseven, and now seemingly red1. Eli has never and I don't think he really cares to involve himself in all the offsite stuff. I would direct your questions either to red1 or echoseven for a response, I am not even sure if they read this thread. Midian can clarify if he wants, but my impression is they will not tolerate any references in posts, sigs, I am not sure. I wouldn't have bothered responding to your post but for some odd reason you mentioned my name. Please don't do that in the future. What is past is past, I never said Eli said we can talk about offsite stuff. I have posted numerous times the policy on this. I will let mods further clarify this. I told them I would abide by their wants, and I respect their wishes. I no longer want to be involved with any of this chatroom mess. Please all, keep me out of it. If my name is mentioned, or I deem it a personal attack, then yes I will respond, but these kind of issues, please do not involve me further. Thanks.
