Surely he's just got an insane amount of debt as well then? I could be 10x richer than I am right now if I owed every penny I had to someone else.
Think about how much money Stark or Bruce Wayne spends on super hero equipment through. It's not like he can divert cash from Stark Industries to build personal battle armor, the shareholders would have a fit. R&D isn't exactly cheap when it's coming out of your own pocket. Also in most of these cases their cash would be tied up in stocks, Scrooge McDuck wins by a mile as far as liquid assets are concerned.
