What's the deal with KFC? Is it genetically modified stuff? I remember I went to a gig when I was younger and some people were coming round telling us that the chickens are bleached and all that sh*t. Do you know?
I personally don't care. It's terrible what they do to those animals, and it's awful for you with all the hormones they give animals (not just KFC). But you know what? I simply do not care. I have way to much going on and have way to much on my mind to add the guilt of tortured chickens and what not to the list. I know I sound like a complete d*ck, and with good reason. I simply havn't the time to worry about it all. I used to worry about it, and used to be disgusted with it. Till I realized that nothing I do will stop it anyways... and I like to eat the food... so what does that leave me? Sorry if I offend anyone. My step-father raises his own animals for slaughter (cows, pigs, chickens) and those taste much f*ckin better anyways. But still... the occassional KFC bucket is not bad at all. If my local food restaurant can make food out of rats that resembles and tastes like chicken (or other meat) without me knowing, then I have been had and it doesn't bother me. Why? Because I had no clue. Am I sick that this happens? Absolutely but once again, I don't care. lmao

Bleached? What would bleaching a chicken even do? Anyway, my first job was in KFC and everything that happens in the restaurant at least is legit, nothing dodgy going on at all. The chicken looks fine when it's delivered too, obviously I don't know exactly what's happened to it but as far as I could tell it's no different to the stuff you see in supermarkets. That said, I have seen the animal cruelty videos regarding the places KFC sources from and it's pretty mean, but the company sure didn't condone the actions of the workers there.
What's that aboot? @John, that's cool mate. The guys told me that they get beaten and bruised chickens and bleach them to make them super white again. As I said, I've got no idea, but it's good to read your experiences.
