    True. There are also a whole bunch of religious books and texts older than the bible. It seems people just pick one at random and let it rule their entire life.

    "Jesus" never escaped from his tomb. Either he didn't exist and it was all made up or there was some "Jesus" guy that got nailed to a cross, died and put in a tomb where he just decomposed into the ground, never escaped (cos he's dead, and even if he was alive, there was a big ass boulder in the way). And then someone decided to write a story about him.

    That's gotta be the strangest reasoning I've ever heard. It's like responding to "Santa Claus isn't real" with "Then how do you explain the presents? How did he get down the chimney? With magic?". You can't just use one made-up story to cover up another.
