Aren't there already a ton of threads dealing with this subject? or something similar? I've seen some about life after death, religions, etc. This is a gaming website filled with many many people with many different opinions and thoughts ranging from different cultures and backgrounds from around the world, and not a debate website. All this is causing is more controversary and judgement towards others. I agree that it's important to share our opinions and such, but the same "war" just goes on and on... and people will never agree on it.

Clearly unheard of. This is truly a unique event in the touch arcade community.

Despite the fact that things occur that science can't explain.

Shouldn't matter anyway, Christians are always going on about how God forgives all. We'll just live free of the confines of a fairytale and if it turns out we're wrong who gives a crap? The guys upstairs still love us.

No, that's the fault of human stupidity. I haven't been a part of any of those events. People who had twisted ideas in their mind do the wrong stuff. As for prop 8, I really support it.

I just believe that being a good person will have good benefits, and I think a lot of religions help people become better. I know plenty of atheists who are great people, and it's ok for them. I'm just not ok with how messed up the world can be sometimes.

So religion is responsible for the good things humans do, but not the bad? Sounds like selective responsibility. Despite the fact God is supposed to be the dude sending plagues and floods which clearly indicates he's not totally opposed to wiping out a few thousand despicable humans every now and then.

Man, if I could just morph and manipulate some ancient myth to justify all the crap I do I could get away with anything.

No, that's not what I'm saying. I thunk that everything that happens in life is either nature or people making something happen. I just believe that religion helps people (in some cases) to do better stuff. There are religions that aren't peaceful or calm, but as with everything else in life, there is always an exception to everything.

People make their own choices, but it'd be good if everyone made the right choices. :)

for some religion really helps them, for some it gives them something to blame things on
