We really need a stickied thread on how to upgrade. It can't be hard. And the multitude of threads about it is pointless.
wtf ios4 cant be synced to the original iPHone 2g? Phuck you apple gotta force us to buy new products
Yes, it can. It's first-gen devices that can't use it. 2nd gen devices can use it but won't get multitasking or home screen wallpaper.
Don't know what to do right now... I downloaded iOS4 and while updating my iPod Touch 2G, during the restoring part I got a "Error 14" After this I tried to restore my iPod to find out that I get the same error. I don't really know what to do and now I can't use my iPod until I figure out what to do =\
Put your device into DFU mode and perform the update that way. Hopefully you did a backup because this will require a full restore.
on a related note, does anyone know if it's possible to fully close the app instead of having it automatically go to the background and then closing it?
Need for speed shift or undercover? Which one is better and more "modern" and fun and is iilt really worth it because both game are very glitchy i heard
dude for that sale... if you can effort, get both. they are great titles and at .99 liturately a steal
one, this is the wrong freaking thread. you should know better then to make a new one for this... but um considering one's 2.99 and the other's 6.99..both?
Get both for less than a cup of coffee, and stop making new threads when there's already about 6 others!
How will the iphone 4 optimized apps transfer to older idevices? I own an itouch 2g and ive heard that many apps are getting updates to run in 720p. But my oldd itouch cant handle that so will my apps look weird and bad after the updates? Will it look Better or stay the same? Can someone who is in my same predicament answer?
The following things can happen: - Developers decide to stick with 360p and let the new iPhone scale up graphics, these games run fine on your device - Developers decide to release a seperate 720p version ("HD"), these are apps to avoid for your device (most likely they crash, give an error message or only show a quarter of its screen) - A game supports both (called universal) and shows high definition graphics on the new phone, while still being compatible with low resolution devices. App updates most likely keep supporting the old low resolution, these will stay the same on your device It depends on the game which of these apply, take a good look at the game description to find out.
