Tetris start up screen? WHATS WRONG WITH MINE??? ok so i was watching some reviews for tetris on the iphone. It looked good so i bought it. But in the videos, when they load up there game, there is a really fancy animation of a hand clicking the EA button and flicking it and then a T pops up and the T explodes and theres a loading screen with 3 cubes, then the main menu. BUTTT, when I load my game (the newest version, 1.261), it just shows a Tetris symbol, then a black screen with words, then a loading screen, then the main menu. WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE COOL ANIMATION I SAW IN THE OTHER VIDEOS??? IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY TETRIS??? there is no animation in the start up . Please help
Can anyone give me a legitamate answer? Was this because of an update or is my copy of tetris flawed?
Really? It matters that much to you? Like bmn0210 said it's probably because testers said it increased the loading time. Your copy of the app is like everyone elses.
It's because you have no soul. Due to this, the developers decided to remove the opening on your device only. Tough luck kid

this is one of the most ridiculous complaints I've ever heard. a start up screen usually isn't the reason for a purchase. I'm sorry you hate tetris and only want the start up screen.
Umm I didnt buy the game for the start up screen. Im just asking why my start up screen is different then everyone elses. I love the game im just curious IF ANYONE elses is like mine. So u guys are the ones trolling im just asking a simple question and next time before you post, check if you have tetris if so, CLICK it, then see if ur startup matches my description, THEN POST thank you
Newest version = no more animation as some else pointed out. Don't worry since it took too long to load you aren't missing anything - except waiting time.
Yea but IT looked so cool before lol, i woudnt mind waiting 30 seconds because the animation was so cool before the dumb update.
Then save the youtube video and watch that when you're about to play Tetris. They play fine on iPhones.
Don't you think you'd get sick of it though? Sure it'd be cool the first couple times but then it would just get annoying waiting for an animation to load that you've already seen a hundred times
