If I had just one wish in the world, I'd not cure cancer or hunger or make myself rich. I'd give Candy the ability to have an outside the body experience, in which she can look down and actually see how she looks from other people's perspectives. You act like you're so righteous, and you're just playing the victim in all of this. But in reality, you've caused almost all of this on your own with your erratic behavior and elitist attitude. If you really just want to come to this site for games, then stop being a hypocrite and actually ignore other people's comments. All of the comments I quoted above are the exact opposite of this. If you truly ignored everyone's comments towards you, then eventually they'd go away. You claim you're the more mature person, yet you constantly are engaging in this behavior with the other members. Ok, first of all, i didnt level a SINGLE insult against you in the promo thread, i was trying to stay OUT of that argument until you started falling back into the same things you said before, to which i pointed this out. It was CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM..

Second of all, do you realize the comment i put in italics applies to you more than it does to us? Talk about hypocrisy...

 

I agree wholeheartedly with this! Speaking not just for NEG, who you seem to have ABUSED her attempts at being friendly toward you, but as the person you were actively BROWBEATING into submission, WHEN you were put in time-out, and trying to scare me off so you could have the last word and be right, I think on behalf of all of us, the least you could do is apologize..

 

I'd like the court to recognize that my intitial posts to Candy were also friendly and helpful. All I got in return was accusations and spite.

Sorry you took it the wrong way, that was NOT my intention. We both got mixed signals which is a real shame. Do you blame me for saying that? I come back, you kicked me out and talked about me. Anyone would be like, well time to just ignore. So I think we both have points. Some take my words and deliberately twist them, oh it's really too much. I see things from a different perspective now and actually some of it is funny. I have to laugh at the over the top way of how things transpired. What's important now is that it ends. If some dont want to end or want to keep it going because they get a kick out of insulting me, that's their own affair. That's up to them but will it affect me like before? NOPE. I can honestly say it won't.

You want to waltz back in here like nothing happened? Some of us were extremely hurt by your actions the last time and an apology would have done wonders. Social skills even on the internet would have helped prevent this entire debacle.

Of course I'm going to return and not try to set Bat off knowing how she acts. I have kept to myself and posted in game threads. An apology would have done wonders for me too from others. It's a two way street. We just don't see things in the same way. I remember being emotional and very very hurt over me trying to remember my dead twin sister who died of terminal cancer. I was saying a little ode to her and i got crucified for doing it. Now if this happened, I would shrug it off, I would be like wow some people are fruit loops and incompassionate but would lit make me upset? Probably not. Social skills are important big time for all of us yes.

I don't know whether to believe that I am on your ignore list or not, trust is big here too, so not sure if you will read this, but if I am one of your "friends" can forward you this message. It might help you in the long run if you actually listen this time.

Of course I will read it silly girl. If you want this silly stuff to finally end and it should, then let's have some communication in email or whatever. I'm down for that. If you or others are not open to that, that's fine too, I will just go on enjoying TA. You are remembering me from a way I behaved due to things I'm not going to go into here. I also remember ways others behaved which were of course way out of line. We have a mod that is trying to ban me and gives a member immunity from being banned giving her carte blanche to say whatever she wants while always pointing me out. That is a bit disturbing. I can overlook that of course, people are gonna do what they do so..no use in even worrying about it.

Well, that's all I have to say. Both sides said things, I doubt if anyone meant to hurt the other person. Lessons can be learned and have already been learned. lol the internet is a pretty effed up place when you miss social cues, can't hear the persons voice, misunderstanding city! lol. Saves me quite some work.

And about Candy again: I didn't knew her before, but she is acting like a pouting, immature schoolgirl. Her acting in this thread makes me believe that she is socially a little inept. Can't understand it. It was silent and peaceful here on TA (not counting Michaelscott) in the last few month - and now a flame war is starting, all of a sudden? Most people here get along quite well, helpful and friendly. That's the reason why I like TA.
And sure, sometimes you can't tell whats the true meaning of a written text, because of this indirect communication.
But there is a netiquette existing. Quite some people here are following these rules.
It is a lame excuse to blame this "indirect internet communication" for everything.

I NEVER had a problem with the most junior and senior members here. All were friendly and nice to me (and I don't count kidding to be bad).

Btw., I talked to NEG, very often. She is a nice and helpful person and I never had a reason to think she's spiteful.

 

I'm 43, and now is now. You never saw the threads from before. If I put a person on ignore that is a smart thing to do as the others have mentioned before. You don't even know me and vice versa.

You might have to read ages and ages of pages of his/her threads but what does it matter? It doesn't.

last i checked neither the Girls group or the Promo group belonged to NEG... IF i remember right, you got kicked out of the girls group because of the way you were treating me and Bat, or did you forget what was happening the day you both got kicked out of the group, AND put in time out? NEG has NOTHING to do with it..

 

WTH. It seems every thread I pop open is Candy-infected.
