Where I live this weird rubber band thing is getting insanly popular. First of all let me tell you what these rubber band things are. They are rubber bands that comes in a shape of an obect or animal or living humans as an example I've seen a car shaped rubber band and a shark shaped rubber band. So do any of you know what in the world these are and why they are so popular!?
Called Zany bands/Silly bands you can get them at CVS or walgreens, no idea why they are popular, but they will pass in a year or two just like yu-gi-oh
do any of you know how popular these things are!? everywhere I walk I see people with 15 of those on their arm going like," hey do you have a shark? I'll trade you for a crown" Its kind of pathetic....
Like I said, idk, but again they're like yu-gi-oh they will pass over eventually and at least Im not obsessed with them
This is actually huge where I am. I really don't mind them, but seriously, I saw one shaped like a shoe and another like a glass coke bottle. Not cool.
the only ruberbands that are acceptable to where in public are Livestrong bands...they support a good cause and they have a pretty cool look (yes its plain and yellow but i like the basic feature of it)
I've never seen any of these. But it's just a fad, it will pass. It sounds like there's really no purpose to them anyway, other than little kid fashion.
It's the latest rage for the young'ns these days... *old man voice* Back in my day we played with POGS! Not some stupid rubber band that does nothing! Any other past pog collectors here? It's just another fad, like slap bracelets, pogs, MTG (still popular? Eli?), pokeman, and now silly bands... But really it's a pretty dumb fad if you ask me... I just wish i was the guy to say hey let's make rubber bands into shapes, pretty sure whoever it was made a mint over night...
