The past few days, I've noticed that random updates on my devices that have already been installed a couple years ago are coming back as updates again. The notes under the updates are the same as 2 years ago as well as the dates. They do not effect the games I've tested. Pretty odd unless I'm missing something. Running iPad Air and Air 2, both on iOS 9.3.4, not jail broken.
I got the same (iOS11 here), and quite a few others reported on TA's Discord that they got old updates too. It's not the first time something like this happens. My best guess is that Apple's update mechanism has a hiccup, as the last 2-3 I remember everything went back to normal after a few days. As usual, Apple is great at communicating issues to their customers ... oh wait, of course they are not
Always welcome! Quite sure it's not iPad Pro related, if that's what you mean: Until Saturday, I was on an Air1 (iOS11, not jailbroken) and the issues popped up there first. I only switched to my new Pro on the weekend, and it happens there as well. If you mean you consider to get a Pro, go for it Only two days in, and I'm super happy with it (I got the big 12.9" one, for the bigger screen and bigger keyboard).
