Web OS lookalike running on Palm Centro. Does this prove it can be done on iPhones?

If this TealOS is done on an old Centro, then do you think it could be done on the current iPhone, complete with live cards and systemwide web integration?

I'm not talking about the aesthtic of that TealOS, I'm talking about the functionality of the page cards, etc.

The aesthetic that fits the iPhone is the REAL WebOS of course.

The old Palm looks oudated. I have never liked old stuff. The new OS looks very good. I would prefer to have that one!

  5. Not sure why you'd want to, but yes, it would be possible to do on the iPhone.

You wouldn't be able to launch applications from inside of it (low memory after your new launcher eats it up, to say nothing of the fact that apps don't have access to other apps except to switch to built-in apps) and apps couldn't return to it after they quit.

You might be able to do something like this in the jailbreak world, but I don't know to what extent it would work -- again because of memory issues.
