I'm a Safari user. I've tried Firefox on a Mac and just can't stick to it while on a PC, Firefox would be my browser of choice.
I've used them all, and a fan of Chrome. They have extensions now too, though not a ton like Firefox, but getting there.
Tonight I downloaded Google Chrome and I have to say ADIOS FireFox! I cannot believe how fast Chrome is! I had firefox modded to be as fast as it could go. FireFox is like a geo metro racing a corvette! If you don't have it yet download Google Chrome! It's absolutely amazing!
I've been using Firefox since 0.4 or 0.5, which I switched to from Netscape. Can't imagine using anything else, though I've tried most if not all of the others. Chrome is fast enough but lacks features, and out of the box, it's fugly. Never liked Opera. IE -- well, obviously, the less said, the better. Safari is meh, even on a Mac. Very average. I've no compelling reason to switch to anything else at the moment. It's fully compliant with current HTML specs, has massive addon and plugin support, works well, is fast, has great features, and if it's a bit spendy on RAM -- well, that's why I got 8 gigs. Until and unless Chrome gets widespread plugin/addon support I can't see ever switching to it. Also, I hate everything running in its own process. Messy, messy taskbar and I can't use Control-TAB or the scrollwheel to flip tabs. Firefox may not do that but it saves your sessions if it crashes so it goes right back to them when you reload.
I use Chrome. It's fast, it syncs my bookmarks nicely with my gmail account, it keeps flash at bay, it handles errors and crashes caused by bad web programming very well, and it's good for testing html5 webpages.
I used Firefox exclusively since the very beginning... what was it called back then? Pheonix? I forget. Also over the past four years I have been on Linux for 75%+ of that time and Firefox was always around. Since switching back to Windows land, I have given Chrome a shot and it has obliterated Firefox! I use Firefox for one site that apparently cannot handle Chrome's multiple browser instance.
Phoenix (up to 0.5), then Firebird (to 0.71), then finally Firefox from 0.8 on. Keep in mind though that the reason Chrome is so fast right now is because it's unburdened with an abundance of features. Give it time to build up to the point Firefox is at and it won't seem quite the spring chicken it once was.

I use to love Firefox, but it just started feeling too clunky for me. Just tried out Chrome, though. Holy sh--! It's ridiculous! I thought Safari was fast... And it even has multi-touch trackpad support right out of the box. I don't even think Firefox has that yet.
I like the Chrome UI the best and might switch back to FF when 4.0 comes out. FF doesn't have extension limitations like Chrome does which means better Ad-blocking software
This "it's fast" thing never held water with me. It takes longer for me to fart than it does to open a webpage with ANY browser, so the fact one is slightly faster doesn't even seem slightly impressive or even useful.
You should change your diet then. But, to be fair, I think Chrome, Opera, and Firefox are all very capable browsers. I just prefer Chrome because of the interface, gmail sync, and light weight.
Been trying out Chrome lately. It's pretty fast... but for some reason, it won't load up TouchArcade.com for me. Probably user error.
