Well, Apple announced their iPhone 4G yesterday, but do you think they will keep the same formula for the iPod Touch 4G?

I mean, will they keep the same frame, the same processor, the same resolution, than the iPhone 4G?

They released an iPhone 4G did they?

How come I never got a press release from Apple about it.

He's making fun. He was referring to the telecoms standard whereas you were talking about the generation model.

    Just did,

It said the iPhone 4 is coming.... not the iPhone 4G.

There is a lot of difference.

I probably won't upgrade my touch until 5th gen, but will definitely get some new phones.

Same here. I just got my 3G this Christmas after running out of space on my 8 gb. Got a 32 and still have about 10 gigs left over. What I need is a replacement for my LG Dare, which I got the summer before freshman year, and I'm a rising junior. Contract's about to expire, but I'm not sure if I wanna go Android, or to hold out for a Verizon iPhone.

yeah same got my 32 3g for my birthday in January - I only got about 4 gigs free space left though (I currently entertain a large music catalog on it - best MP3 player ever). :D

Edit - I am on Virgin (in Canada), and they have the iPhone - actually almost every carrier where I am has it. Would you consider switching - either way some of the Android based phones look sweet.

I will definately be getting the iPod touch 4th gen. I'm still on a 2nd.... I really can tell the processor on my 2nd gen is getting old, some newer apps run a bit slow. I hope the 4th gen has the same processor and screen resolution as the iPhone 4.
