So, regardless of size/how many can be built, should I build a tailor shop, lumber mill, or mining camp?
i think itz better to make tailors since they get more money for their time, but for me since i have school and can't check often, i just build some of the other ones
Fletch, don't know if someone else posted it, but I just got 250c and 80 xp from ordering 100 bags of grain from windmill.
The mining camp gives you the best return for the money spent if size is not in the equation. Thanks ghostrider, added it to the chart.
Basic Leveling Strategy Summed Up: Farming: 1. Corn (45 sec) --> Unlock Wheat (5 min) 2. Wheat (exp) or Corn (coins) --> Unlock Peas (30 min) Note: Avoid Farming Onion unless absolutely necessary for time; Onions take the first major decline in exp & coin per hour. 3. Peas --> Unlock Rice (15 min) Note: If you have the time to babysit your crops, use wheat instead of Peas. Overall yield is about 1.5 times larger for both exp and coin. That said, if you find yourself not keeping up with the 5 min turnaround, you might as well just plant Peas. 4. Personally, rice seems to have the best compromise between value and downtime. Buildings While trying to level, you really only need 2-types of buildings: The Mining Camp and Tailor Shop (anything else is just for show). The Mining Shop maximizes your cost to output/return ratio. The Tailor Shop makes the best use of space. Be sure to frequently accept orders & deliver orders. Also, be sure to check your Plus+ network friends for "open" signs to place your own orders (which grant you money and exp).
interesting but... how to unlock rice? so far I've got corn, wheat, onion, beans, squash, carrots and strawsberries, but no trace of rice (and a 15m timing would be great). edit oh, forget it, just realized I can see the level requirement of not unlocked jet things. ;P
I updated my chart on rewards from businesses. The "Basic Reward" is what you'd get if you left the business to work on its own without taking an order. Added a file on crops too. Both files can be found on my webspace: http://www3.telus.net/vinkev/fh893hf3894h/We%20Rule/ I want to talk about the space issue for a sec. Right now I'm level 16 with the Castle upgrade, for 15k, that you can purchase at level 15. The next upgrade is the Citadel for 30k--available at level 20. The thing is, I think I'll actually run out of room before level 20. If I guestimated the level ramping right, I'll reach my space limit somewhere at level 19. Now, I mass Tailor Shops. If you were to mass Mining Camps, depending on how early you mass, you might run into space problems at the level 15 upgrade. EDIT: Nope, I was wrong. Ran out of space--early level 18. Reached 30k before level 19 too.
Hey Fletch, have new numbers for you: Orderer: Wizards Tower 300c 100xp Lumber Mill 225c 75xp Tavern: Owner 675c 170xp Orderer 425c 145xp
Does adding things like Wells and Picnic Tables do anything to the game? I was wondering if they added to your XP points somehow or even mojo? I've added a few for the sake of the people, but if they don't really contribute anything say for the wellbeing of them, then I would rather spend the money elsewhere.
its a social game. you create a kingdom, for everyone else to see. So make it look good. thats the whole point of the game. yes...it should have some kind of war system.
This game is good as it is. - Should be some kind of built-in lobby where people can advertise for their buisiness or just talk, would be cool.
quick question: how to remove friends? I see that some of the one in my "kingdom list" doesn't play the game anymore. they're still level 7 or around that and their fields are "broken". so I'd like to remove them and add some more active player, is there a way? thanks. btw, if someone wants to add me I'm "locksoft". :]
@lock To remove a friend, first go in to Plus+. At the bottom, tap on the Friends tab(middle one). If you're on the Folowers list, at the top, tap on the Friends list. Now tap on the Edit button. On the left of the friend you want to delete, tap on the minus button and then tap on the Delete button to confirm. On a different note, the numbers are up: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=47595 So, let's talk about post Tailor Shop building. First, realistically, you're only going to do two cycles a day for a Tailor Shop because when you have a bunch of them, people aren't going to fill up the orders instantly. Moving forward with that in mind, I compared which buildings gave higher gains than a Tailor Shop but also took space constraints into consideration. The best rewards:time ratio that compares to a two cycle Tailor Shop is the Tavern. It actually takes the same amount of space as a Tailor Shop too. The Tavern not only beats the Dragons Lair and Griffin's Nest in gaining more coin and xp for the owner, you'll get more by ordering from a Tavern as an orderer too. Of course, with the Tavern, you'd have to order twice in two days; whereas, with the other two, you just order once; but I don't think it's too much work to make one order on a daily basis. Much better than placing two orders from a Tailor Shop.
Event requirements I'm asking for anyone who knows list the requirement of events. For example I ordered fro the tailor shop and it said I couldn't do the royle ball there must be something wrong.
@Sirglame I'm not sure exactly what happened. I'm presuming you placed an order at a Tailor Shop in another kingdom and later on you got a message saying the kingdom failed to deliver? If so, when you get the message that another kingdom has failed to deliver an order, this either means they refused the order you placed or the order was at the delivery stage but they did not deliver it in time so the order expired. @lock Thanks =) I'm always happy to have followers for my kingdom.
