We are working in a new upgrade of Time Geeks and we have 3 possible icons. We love to know your opinion 1: The original one 2: The upgrade 2.0 3: One new option
I think the third one is more immediately indicative of the game title. You have your clock, and you have your geeks.
I like the 2.0 because the time geeks mobile stands out more ,and blue and orange are complimentary colors.
As much as I love the second one. It looks blurry for my iPod Touch 3rd gen, so a more close-up option might be the best option (for me, at least)
The third one is obviously a bit clearer on the characters, but some random kids' faces aren't quite as "cool" as that capsule thing they're in, so I'd go with #2.
I went with the original because I think yellow border has better energy that captures the flow of the game. The blue in option two seems a bit too polished for me and option 3 over-emphasizes the geeks who frankly make the game look juvenile.
The third version doesn't really bind very closely to the game - it's just a bunch of people looking out a window. Actually, they look like they're at the aquarium. Even though the game's name is "Time Geeks", it's not really very focused on the geeks themselves. The time copter is the real star. (Sorry geeks, maybe you should have a beer with David Hasselhoff. He feels your pain.) The copter summarizes the whole game pretty clearly: you're going to travel in a time machine that hovers over various landscapes while you work on them. #1 and #2 are both fine, but #1 is iconic. It also suggests the game's bright, sunny color palette.
The third option doesn't reflect the game as the other two. Although I like the yellow back ground of the original the 2nd option is a little more realistic setting as in being in a galaxy, hence time travel. So I'd choose the 2nd option (upgrade 2.0). Nice game btw.
I like the original one coz it's vivid. The third one seems rough coz it's zoomed in, so it's easy to tell how poor the graphic is.
I like the original one, with the eye catching yellow background. The second one looks dull in comparison. With the "close-up" icon, it's not clear what the characters are in.
I chose icon 2. I would like to see the top of the windshield not be quite so light-colored so that I could see the time geeks a little better. Other than that, it is a nice change.
