Just stick a gem into the staff, then it will charge. I dont understand what the differences are between gems, or how to use special gems, but charging seems easy. You can use lightning over your pet. I believe it jumps only to the nearest target, so if there is a second monster behind the first, it may never jump back to you or your pet.
I'm still confused as to how this works but it looks like you can have a whole guild playing the same dungeon. It would be cool to get everyone from TA together in a co-op. Someone should start a WazHack add me thread. Edit: Yeah I'm obviously still not getting this. I went back to play again and now it says I have no friends added.
Apart from a few initial server-side issues, the iOS version now links smoothly into the cross-platform player account system on wazhack.com! This allows multiplayer, as those above have already shown. If you tried to either 'Recover' or 'Upgrade' before about 30 minutes before this post, please try again and the server should respond correctly. 4:20AM now though, so if something else goes wrong, I'll get to it in the morning.
So a TA guild is born of 'Royce' and 'Parvizal' so far. If you bought the game and want to join I think you just add our user names as friends if anybody else is interested. I'm not sure how coop works. I guess you have to start the game at the same time and play at the same time. Competitive seems like you can play whenever though and try and beat your friends descents. I hope a few more people join us !
Well thanks for staying up late to sort that out for us dude ! I can't wait to get a few guild members all setting up scores to beat and playing the odd coop game too. This is a total blast !

Yeah it says "oooooomonkey" is not a guild member yet, so either we're spelling the name wrong or he hasn't registered yet. Also, I have 2 Pocketnovas, both registered
Wearing metal gear (armor, shields, etc) reduces the effectiveness of magic. Battle Magery allows you to wear heavy armor with less negative effect.
Ugh was having a great game just got effortlessly to the gnomish mines as a night, great eq drops, probably best/easiest round I have had, but then I used a TP scroll and I teleported into a room with no entrance or exit: Is this a bug or another "feature"?;-)
