Hahahaha I hear you, but i don't see myself back out. Anyhow, I have three people before me, so I won't probably have a go.
So if one of the other people do a challenge (the people who have already completed the tasks and now have the game), then does that count towards a new person getting a code?
I have free time as well Monday - Wednesday so if you guys would like I could play wayward and leave impressions. Just let me know
Here is a rope my friend. This challenge is so worth it just for people's impression. Who will have a better imp than coolpepper?
That leaves 3 or 4 people who are willing to play for those who can't due to their work. It'll be a blast if Kepa lets that happen and if the people getting replaced agree!
Isn't there another class that hasn't been played yet? If only 4 people have gone (counting me) then that should leave two classes.. I didn't think about this until now. These new terms aren't as fun.
Are there hidden/secret areas like in MG or SQH? Apologies if this had been asked/answered. Reading all of this is both awesome and incredibly frustrating at the same time. Just release and let the rest of us play!
You have to unlock all the other classes except for the three that have been played. Kepa is making the challenges harder but opening up access to everyone with a code to alleviate some of that.
You're better off just buying the game on release mate, this competition is going on forever. But since that other people get a go who already have beaten the bosses, the contest will go even faster. So I'm waiting but I don't know if I'll be given a chance before the release :/ you're probably somewhere around contestant #20-30
Here are some tips from metalcasket I wouldn't really say Mage Gauntlet helped me, but being familiar with rogue-likes definitely helps. In Wayward's case, it's all a matter of knowing how to play. Being slow and methodical will get you far. Don't rush in and attack enemies... always keep your distance and make sure you won't end up getting yourself stuck in a corner. Study the enemies' attack patterns, let them come to you. Choose when you attack wisely and when's the right time to lay it on them, or charge your attack. Oh, and always, always keep your eye on what's in your inventory. In my case, using that invisibility cloak item at the very last second is what led me to beating the boss within barely an inch of my life, rather than keeping everyone in this thread waiting. Oh, and one more thing: Dying and grinding is all part of the game. It's going to happen and you're only going to get better as you play more and upgrade, so don't mind death...embrace it. Here are my tips. The Mage is hard as hell. Get every coin you can and upgrade often but choose wisely when you do. It's sometimes better just to keep collecting coins to buy a high cost upgrade. If you have a full inventory and you come across a new item, if you have it use the item that will cause a poisonous attack to the next person you hit because that item is not time sensitive and then you can pick up the new item. Count which floor your on because if you don't you won't know until you die. I really think that info should be added to the menu. The boss will be on the fifth floor. Use power ups very carefully sometimes they do more harm than good.
